From the Pastor's Desk...
We are delighted that you have chosen to seek information
concerning the Morgantown Church of God. Our church congregation is an
exciting body of believers who have a vision. Our heartbeat in ministry
includes growing in Christ and extending arms of love to others. Our mission
statement declares that we are "a God-seeking family of believers who are
committed to spreading the gospel to the lost, nurturing believers, and
equipping members for Christian service." We invite you to visit with us in
any of our services. We would be delighted to serve you in any manner. It is
our prayer that God will bless you abundantly.

Pastor and Mrs. Green
Reverend Salone J. Green serves as the pastor of the
Morgantown congregation, having first begun his ministry in August 1990.
Along with his wife Jane, who is also a licensed minister, Reverend Green
has served the local church since 1999. Pastor Green also serves on the
State Council and is a past member of the State Youth and Christian
Education Board for the Church of God in Mississippi. Reverend Mrs. Green is a member of the State
Women's Ministries Board and is a past member of the State Girls' Clubs
Board. They have one daughter, Harolyn.
